Lincoln School is located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the second largest city in Mexico. It offers a place for teachers that have received a calling to serve the Lord in the field of education. We enjoy a multi-cultural setting which includes teachers, families, and students from different parts of the world. The majority of our students come from Christian families but there are many who are not believers. For this reason we have an evangelistic setting. Teachers and staff members lives their lives before the community and take every opportunity to integrate their faith into the curriculum and shine as lights in the world.
Lincoln is a non-denominational Christian international school with approximately 440 students from kinder to 12th grade. We run an English immersion program in kinder and elementary that includes one to two hours of Spanish daily. In middle and high school main subjects are taught in English and various others in Spanish. Our curriculum aligns with common core standards.
Our goal is that every student would be bilingual at the end of their education at Lincoln. Our mission is to educate young students that will love the Lord with all of their hearts, mind and soul and others as themselves.
We are looking for people that serve actively in their local churches and that have a solid Christian lifestyle and are open to intercultural experiences. Teaching experience is useful, but not indispensable. Experienced teachers and staff members get involved in mentoring and coaching the new ones.
Lincoln School is accredited by ACSI and by AdvancED. We require minimum a bachelor´s degree from our candidates. Professional development is a regular part of our program.
